After doing a thorough inspection myself, I realized the previous owners had completely omitted previous damage the home had sustained on the property disclosure. We were pretty broke from making the down payment and maxing out our paying power on the mortgage. David came and out and did a free consultation with us. We mostly needed an estimate for court so we could get the money to cover repairs. Shortly after the inspection with David, my kitchen stove blew up. Fire department came in trigger happy and left our home standing in water. The next day, I called David since he already knew the shape our home was in prior to the fire. Our home was left to sit in water in the summer heat for well over a week before demolition began. No one came with industrial grade fans or anything of that nature to reduce mold growth prior to demolition.  Our insurance company covered the cost of a camper to stay in  while repairs were being made. David's "team" came out and began demolition but never finished it. Not only that, the workers had absolutely no face masks or suits. They wore jeans and tshirts. They couldnt have been more than 15-19 years old each. They left open Starbucks containers all over our home which attracted to rats who defecated all over my haphazardly packed up things that was supposed to be taken with the pack out company. Dumpster weren't on site for 2 days after demo started and everything torn out was stored on our front porch which broke our banisters. I told David and Kathy that I didn't feel right about having teenagers working with mycotoxins without properly rated respirators or coveralls so that we could be sued down the road. He assured me that the boys were 21 and properly dressed because he had photos of them but I know for fact he never showed up in person once on any of those days  I was unimpressed with how little David knew about what was acceptable practice as a contractor. He did not inform me ahead of time of any steps he was taking and then charged us over $30k the electrical and a new outdoor unit before even restoring power to our where the unit could be tested. He took almost a month procuring the permit to install a temporary power pole and charged us $650 just for talking to the power company. We rejected the estimate and let them know that our insurance company was going to send someone out to restore our power. After not hearing from the company or seeing anyone for weeks, he suddenly had the electrician out to install a temporary power pole the next day. We told the guy to take a hike and installed the box and wiring ourselves. We used to do renovations to water damaged homes ourselves previously so we can see how most contractors get away with charging so much for doing so little when most people don't have a working knowledge of what all that entails. This company did exactly that. As nice as Katherine and David were, they were not business savvy nor fair in their pricing. They wanted to "save" us money by having us do the smoke damage cleanup, painting post repairs, and any other repairs we wanted done that wasn't done by the recent fire. We really wanted to work with this company. I am not what you call a difficult or fussy customer by any means  I leave a lot of room for error but was at the end of my rope. They are friendly folks. I will give them that but if you work with this company, make sure you do some research and keep a close eye on your bill. We only had $100k to work with and got charged $33k before any repairs could be made. We got charged another $30k for the pack out company to clean and store our things while repairs were to be done. So all we were going to get was less than $30k worth of repairs when our repair estimate prior to the fire damage was priced at $20k. We hope this was as much of a learning experience for this company as it was for us. Your money should be made the honest way. Capitalizing on people's hardship and ignorance is unfair and unnecessary.

Had one room with terrible stains all kind of stuff food coffee drinks one sure if they could get these stains out or not Ian was great he showed up got to work and cleaned this room and got all the stains out. Great job if you have carpet that really needs cleaning. These are the guys you want to go to for a great job would not even consider the competition with vans and hoses and water that soaks your carpet just called David and let them take care of your dirty carpet.

They were the most competitive price and did a beautiful job rebuilding the wall, as well as the cabinetry and tiling in the kitchen.
